Título: The Wedding Necklace as a Generative Theme for Teaching Socio-Environmental Education Knowledge and Skills

Palavras-chave: Keywords: Wedding necklace, Ancestral knowledge, Indigenous crafts,Indigenous school.

Páginas: 60

Resumo: This work is the result of a research project developed within the PostgraduateProgram in Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context (PPGECII) on thetraditional knowledge of the Rikbaktsa Indigenous people, and the knowledgethat can be articulated for pedagogical practice in Rikbaktsa Indigenousschools. Its objective was to identify and share possible traditional knowledgeand teaching practices that may be present in the making of the weddingnecklace, an object belonging to the Rikbaktsa material and immaterial culture. This research was developed with elders of the people and had contributionsfrom some teachers of the Myhyinymykyta Skiripi Indigenous State School, located in the Rikbaktsa Indigenous Territory, Barranco Vermelho Village, in themunicipality of Brasnorte/MT. For the development of the research, it wasestablished with the elders and teachers that the study would address theprocesses for conducting research on the Wedding Necklace (Tutãrã). Basedon a participatory ethnographic research methodology, the following stageswere developed: observation and listening to the elders, collection of materialfor the making of the Wedding Necklace, guidance on making the necklace andits rules, and finally, the recording of practical activities throughout the entireprocess. The data obtained showed that the activity, which linked culturalpractices with school activities, aroused great interest as a researcher, and Ibelieve it will strengthen pedagogical practices in classrooms at my Rikbaktsapeople's school. It was observed that the guidance from the elders andteachers, both during the collection of materials from the chosen individuals, such as snail shells (tutãrã), and in the making of the wedding necklace craft, was invaluable. These teachings will be used in schools to introduce students toand spark their interest in learning about the knowledge involved in makingwedding necklaces. Through this research, we can establish an interculturaland interdisciplinary dialogue that allows for the identification of schoolknowledge in mathematics, history, geography, biology, and other disciplinesrelated to cultural practices. However, we must emphasize that the IndigenousKnowledge discipline, which is itself a cultural practice, already has a link toancestral culture. This can strengthen students' knowledge and encourage theirfull involvement in activities that incorporate the traditional knowledge of theRikbaktsa people. By participating in the theoretical learning processes in theclassroom, students can understand that there are various models and forms ofcrafts, depending on the people, with their own rules and beliefs.

Título: Terena Leadership in Mato Grosso: Milton Jorge Turi Rondon and Cirênio Reginaldo Francisco

Palavras-chave: Terena – MT; Indigenous Leadership; Xumono and Sukirikiono.

Páginas: 164

Resumo: This dissertation analyzes the role of Terena leaders from Mato Grosso—particularly Milton Jorge Turi Rondon (Sukirikiono) and Cirênio Reginaldo (Xumono)—in the struggle for the demarcation of territory for the Terena people of Mato Grosso between 1998 and 2002. The study is based on previously unpublished primary sources, such as minutes, official letters, internal documents, photographs, and audiovisual records recovered after the passing of Chief Milton Rondon. These materials reveal key processes of mobilization, identity affirmation, and territorial conquest for the Terena people of Mato Grosso. Drawing on documentary research (SÁ-SILVA; ALMEIDA; GUINDANI, 2009), the study seeks to understand how Terena cultural duality, expressed through the Xumono and Sukirikiono moieties, shaped political strategies, negotiations, and confrontations with the Brazilian State in a context of institutional neglect and rights violations. The results show that leaders Milton and Cirênio played a fundamental role in community mobilization, in seeking legal assistance, in organizing assemblies, and in building the political unity that enabled the recognition of the Terena Indigenous Land in the northern region of Mato Grosso, culminating in recent judicial decisions favorable to the Terena people of Mato Grosso. As part of an educational product, a Pedagogical Practices Report is developed for the Elio Turi Rondon Terena State Indigenous School, aimed at the Terena communities of northern Mato Grosso, with the purpose of strengthening collective memory, cultural identity, and the teaching of the social organization of the Terena people of Mato Grosso.

Título:         THE ETHNOSCIENCE OF THE MEHĨ-KANELA PEOPLE OF ARAGUAIA Medicinal Plants of the Cerrado

Palavras-chave:       Mehĩ-Kanela People, Ethnosciences, Medicinal Plants; Indigenous Education

Páginas: 117

Resumo:   This research addresses the "Study of medicinal plants from the Cerrado used by the community of Aldeia São Pedro, Mehĩ people of Araguaia". With this study, we aim to give visibility to traditional knowledge, mainly related to the cure of diseases. It is a relevant topic in the sense of systematizing knowledge that is passed down orally from generation to generation. The research was developed on the ground in the Mehĩ territory, with the participation of elders and other people from the community such as the Caj (shaman). I carried out the activities with the 6th to 9th grade class at the Juscelino Kubitschek State School, in the annex classrooms of the São Pedro village, in Luciara – MT. The focus is on medicinal plants of the Cerrado biome, considering the experience with natural remedies and their use to cure illnesses by the community. Given this scenario, the following research questions arise: What are the medicinal plants of the Cerrado traditionally used by the Mehĩ people of the Araguaia region to treat illnesses and maintain health? Furthermore, what challenges are faced considering the threats to the Cerrado ecosystem and the impacts suffered over the years? This research revealed the richness and importance of the accumulated knowledge about Indigenous health over thousands of years, passed down from parents to children, and its significance to the community. This body of knowledge is often disregarded, consequently posing a significant challenge to younger generations, who are discouraged from learning and practicing traditional Indigenous health knowledge. This context represents a major challenge. Because there is an Indigenous health policy, collaborative dialogue with it will allow for a balanced and respectful experience, strengthening both care systems.

Título:   IN THE SHADOW OF THE JATOBÁ TREE, IN THE FIELD, IN THE WATERS OF THE RIVER, ON THE SCHOOL FLOOR: THE BEAUTY OF DOING AND TEACHING NAKADO'TU THROUGH ORAL NARRATIVES

Palavras-chave: Traditional Narratives. Nakado’tu Language. Orality. Teaching.

Páginas: 60

Resumo: This work falls within the field of education, research area: “Teaching and Languages in an Intercultural Context” and focuses on teaching the Nakado'tu-Negarotê language, in its oral form, based on our traditional narratives. It also seeks to promote the appreciation of the mother tongue and the strengthening of cultural identity, from the early stages of a child's schooling. To this end, we have developed a pedagogical practice with a multi-grade class of Early Childhood Education (4 and 5 years old) and 1st grade of Elementary School I at the Vale do Guaporé Municipal Indigenous School, located in the Central Negarotê village, Vale do Guaporé Indigenous Land, municipality of Comodoro-MT. As for the research methodology, we initially started with a literature review, interviews with elders, analysis of official documents relevant to the topic, and a qualitative approach based on action research. The pedagogical methodology was developed based on the concept that language is interaction and discourse, through storytelling, playful activities, collective illustrations, visual arts, and songs related to the narratives. Considering the context and needs of children in relation to mastery of the Nakado'tu language, we developed different teaching activities, drawing on our ancestral knowledge. As the final product of the research, we produced an educational documentary that records the oral teaching and learning practices of the Nakado'tu language developed with the class. This material will serve as an educational resource for our schools and will also contribute to strengthening the cultural identity of our people. At school, we face a lack of specific teaching materials written in our mother tongue to work with our students, so the Nakado’tu language has been taught through oral transmission.

Título: MEMORY AND ORALITY: KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HALITI-PARESI CERAMICS IN MOTHER TONGUE TEACHING

Palavras-chave: Haliti School Education. Teaching. Mother Tongue. Ceramics. Memory.

Páginas: 60

Resumo: This work is part of the research line “Teaching and Languages in an Intercultural Context” of the professional master's degree program "Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context - PPGECII/UNEMAT, Barra do Bugres-MT university campus. Its main objective is to use pedagogical practices and a multidisciplinary approach to recover oral knowledge about Haliti pottery from the memories of our elders. In addition, we want to reinforce the importance of schools as a means of cultural strengthening and recovery, using the ancient processes and knowledge of my Haliti-Paresi people about making clay pots as a reference. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to the historical processes of reviving memory and valuing culture in the school context, based on knowledge related to Haliti-Paresí pottery, a material and immaterial culture present in the memory of our elders. From a methodological point of view, it considers a multidisciplinary perspective, seeking to relate them to the different disciplines of basic education and, finally, indicates as an educational product the creation of a catalog as a pedagogical resource that is linked to the objectives and methodologies proposed by the research.

Título: ETHNOMATHEMATICS AND MATERIAL CULTURE: KNOWLEDGE PRODUCED IN BALATIPONÉ BASKETWEAR

Palavras-chave: Balatiponé People; Ethnomathematics; Indigenous Education; Urubamba.

Páginas: 107

Resumo: This work is the result of a research project developed in the Graduate Program in Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context. It aims to strengthen pedagogical practices in mathematics teaching at the Julá Paré Indigenous Full-Time School by using ethnomathematics, which is present in the making of Balatiponé material culture baskets, such as those made from buriti, babassu, and urubamba fibers. This work aims to develop teaching strategies in the areas of mathematics, natural sciences, language, and social sciences, which are areas covered in the National Common Core Curricular Program. The research theme was ethnomathematics and material culture: the knowledge produced in Balatiponé basketry, as its weaves present mathematical and geometric concepts. The methodology used to develop the research was participatory observation, with 9th grade students from the Julá Paré Indigenous State School, located within the Umutina Indigenous territory, Umutina village, municipality of Barra do Bugres/MT. The research took place within the territory with the participation of artisans and teachers. The expected result reflects the reality of the school and the students, who demonstrated great interest in both the creation of the artifacts and the knowledge transmitted by the elders. Through this research, the aim is to strengthen intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue at the Julá Paré Indigenous School, based on the investigation of ethnomathematics and the knowledge present in the creation of the braids under study. This will allow for the articulation of these teachings with pedagogical practices.

Título: AUTOETHNOGRAPHY AND ANCESTRY: The History of the Apyãwa People told from the ancestors who once lived my social names

Palavras-chave: Autoethnography. Name Change. Indigenous Education. Apyãwa People.

Páginas: 113

Resumo: This research was carried out in the Tapi’itãwa Village, Urubu Branco Indigenous Land, Municipality of Confresa-MT. My main objective was to study the naming processes of the Apyãwa people, based on different characters who lived in different periods of history, using the same names. According to my research work, I will contribute to my community by interacting with the school and the wise men in order to correctly teach our true naming sequences in each Apyãwa gender. Also, through written records, the naming will be used according to each phase of their life, that is, according to the predominance in the name of each family. My greatest concern is learning how to use the sequence of names, especially in practical activities. For this reason, it is very rewarding to develop our own teaching materials according to our Apyãwa reality, while our wise men are alive, because they considered it a living library so that this Apyãwa identity can be continued and valued by the new generation. This also helps us to better understand each Apyãwa family, without using the names of other families that are passed on to each age group. In all of this work, I had to ask the wise men for help, who are trying to learn more about the names. This research therefore proposes, in a very clear way, a return to the important role in correctly learning the use of each name. The pedagogical product resulting from this research is the production of a book about Apyãwa names to be used in Apyãwa/Tapirapé schools.

Título: GRAPHICS IN THE INTERCULTURAL CONTEXT AT THE KURÂ-BAKAIRI SCHOOL

Palavras-chave: Kurâ-Bakairí People. Indigenous School Education. Teaching Graphics

Páginas: 127

Resumo: This research was conducted in the Kurâ-Bakairí Villages communities, in the Bakairi Indigenous Land, located in the municipalities of Paranatinga and Planalto da Serra, state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Using a qualitative hetinographic approach and participant observation, the research had as its main objective to present the Kurâ-Bakairí culture, specifically the graphics. And as specific: 1) to present the Kurâ-Bakairí people in relation to the social and cultural aspects; 2) to present the communities that belong to the Bakairi Indigenous Land, from the origin to the present day; 3) to produce a catalog containing the Kurâ-Bakairí graphics. To create this material, it was necessary to have the help of teachers, principals and students to illustrate the figures or draw the male and female body paintings, in addition to conversations with the elders. This material may be used at the Kurâ-Bakairí State Indigenous School, José Pires Uluko Municipal Indigenous School, Aturua State Basic Education School, Otávio Kurewe Municipal Indigenous School, Paikum Municipal Indigenous School and Vicente Kaiawa Municipal Indigenous School of the Bakairi Indigenous Land in the Paranatinga region of MT, with the aim of strengthening the identity and culture of these people, which was revitalized at the Kurâ-Bakairí State Indigenous School, an institution that is the result of intense demands by these people for the recognition and legitimization of their culture. Once learned orally, it is engraved in the memory, always practicing in class with other classmates, with the student acting as an instructor for the companion, but slow in learning, once what we learn in school and in life remains for the rest of our lives, we will never forget it.

Título: NEOLOGISM AND BORROWING IN THE SPEECH OF ENSINO MÉDIO STUDENTS AT THE KURÂ-BAKAIRI INDIGENOUS STATE SCHOOL

Palavras-chave: Neologisms. Loans. Education. Mother tongue. Appreciation.

Páginas: 40

Resumo: This study aimed to understand the challenges faced by Ensino Médio students at the Kurâ-Bakairi indigenous state school in the city of Paranatinga, Mato Grosso. The idea behind this work is fundamental for both school education and social life, with the aim of valuing the Kurâ-Bakairi language. In order to identify and describe the importance of using neologisms in the language of the people, and to innovate words borrowed from Portuguese, in the hope of increasingly strengthening the use of names for home appliances in the native language, the research has been collecting information from young people and elders in the village, as well as to encourage this practice of naming objects, and to create their own names for things that are not part of our culture, but that are now part of our daily lives.

Título: HALITI-PARESI STORIES AS TEACHING AIDS FOR MOTHER TONGUE TEACHI

Palavras-chave: Haliti mother tongue. Teaching. Narratives. Traditional Knowledge

Páginas: 60

Resumo: In this work, I present four illustrated Haliti-Paresi stories, as a proposal for pedagogical support material for the initial years of our indigenous schools, with a focus on our mother tongue. These stories were told in the Haliti language by the elders of our village, in storytelling circles for the children, in the late afternoon of some weekdays, during the summer of April 2024. The written record of these narratives, in the Haliti language, was made by me, together with teacher Ângelo Kezomae, after this first oral practice. The stories were illustrated by one of the school's students, under my guidance. The idea of developing this work, bringing some of our stories as didactic support material for teaching mother tongue in the early years, is because we Haliti teachers are very concerned about mother tongue in our community, remembering that we are in a globalized world, so our role is fundamental in this teaching and learning process. With this in mind, we need to propose and plan our own activities, produce our own specific teaching materials so that children value their first language, so that they feel comfortable expressing themselves in their own language, both orally and in writing, which will strengthen the language and keep it alive among us. Furthermore, listening and dialog between our traditional education and school education is fundamental because it is a way of strengthening our traditional knowledge, since school is a great ally for us in this process.

Título: ETNOARTE INỸ KARAJÁ: SABERES E FAZERES DO POVO INỸ

Título:   LÍNGUA MATERNA E NARRATIVAS DO POVO RIKBAKTSA: CONSTRUINDO A LITERATURA NA EDUCAÇÃO ESCOLAR INDIGENA

Título: MY NAME IS KOGEBOU: NAMING IN THE BOE BORORO MOTHER TONGUE AND ITS MEANINGS

Palavras-chave: Boe Bororo School Education. Name. Culture.

Páginas: 70

Resumo: This work deals with the importance of the name in the Boe Bororo mother tongue, a cultural practice that is currently disappearing among children and young people, as they are losing the habit of calling each other by name in their mother tongue. For this reason, its main objective is to produce a glossary with the names and meanings of the students, because I believe that once the children know the meanings, they will call their classmates by name in their mother tongue, because our names in Boe Bororo have meanings that involve nature, such as birds, animals, fish, rivers and streams, according to each person's clan and sub-clan. The work was produced from the ancient knowledge of my people, which we try to pass on from generation to generation. To make it, I did some research with a village elder, Mr. Joaquim Batista Burudui (in memorian), teachers from my school, and some women. I also researched some books, such as the encyclopedia and dictionary of the Boe Bororo mother tongue.

Título: RITUAL SONGS: A DIALOG WITH APYÃWA SCHOOL EDUCATION

Palavras-chave: Apyãwa School Education; Pedagogical Practices; Apyãwa Ritual Chants

Páginas: 100

Resumo: In this work, I present the fruits of my research, carried out during my postgraduate course at the level of a professional master's degree in “Teaching in an Intercultural Indigenous Context” - PPGECII/UNEMAT. The title of my academic work is: “Ritual Chants: a dialog with Apyãwa school education”, which seeks to contribute to strengthening and maintaining the ritual chants of our people, based on pedagogical practices at school, which play a very important role in the oral modality of our language, as well as in the written modality. We chose to work on this topic because our schools have very few specific authorial didactic productions for teaching the songs of our Apyãwa people, and also as a way of enriching our teaching practices, especially in relation to our mother tongue. Therefore, this research is fundamental in the current context of our people, since the songs are the elements that are exclusively constituted by our language, or rather, they are the riches of our ancestral language. The methodology of my work is primarily composed of the knowledge of native consultants, such as elders, Apyãwa students and bibliographical research, reading Tapirapé authors, Freire, Franco, among others. As we are dealing with the teaching and strengthening of Apyãwa songs in the school context, the focus is on pedagogical action, in accordance with our school's curriculum proposal, present in our Political Pedagogical Project (PPP). The pedagogical action took place along a didactic-methodological path, during which the entire teaching-learning process focused on the ritual songs, through reading and written production. Another purpose of the work is aimed at empowering our language policy in the community to generate more sources of ancestral knowledge to improve and enrich the pedagogical practice of Apyãwa teachers in the effective training of students. For this reason, it is worth emphasizing that the production of materials on this subject is extremely important for the teaching of mother tongue in Apyãwa village schools, since the ritual songs are made up of our language.

Título: FIRE HUNT OF THE A’UWẼ ‘RÃPRÉ (XAVANTE) PEOPLE

Palavras-chave: Hunting with fire; A’uwe ‘Rãpré people; Xavante.

Páginas: 70

Resumo: The theme chosen for this research: The Fire Hunt of the A’uwe ‘Rãpré People – Xavante, is a pertinent theme of an anthropological study that talks about the wedding ritual and culture of my people. With the arrival of modernity in our indigenous villages, whether through new teaching methods at school or with the entry of cell phones into our communities, much has been lost from our culture. And it is to maintain our culture and the importance of hunting with fire that I have been insisting on the continuity of the work. Thus, the methodology consists of collecting historical data, substantiating the records and transcribing all the reports collected through interviews related to the valuable knowledge of ancestries existing since the beginning of the ancestors, which are being told and taught only orally the importance of the knowledge practiced by most of us (A'uwe 'Rãpré-Xavante). The research aims to find out about our culture, the importance of the community's cultural practices, which are part of a source of family sustainability in the community carried out in our coexistence due to the time of change. The name A’uwe ‘Rãpré (Xavante) means, red-headed warrior people, speaking a language from the Jê linguistic trunk. Since the time of our ancestors, our struggle has continued for the recognition of: Knowledge, techniques and education in fire hunting of the A’uwẽ Uptabi - Xavante people. Therefore, we hope that this research can support teachers in schools to work on the topic as a way of keeping the memory of our people alive.

Título: MOTHER LANGUAGE TEACHING AT KURÂ BAKAIRI STATE SCHOOL

Palavras-chave:  Bakairi people; Mask Ritual; Teaching Mother Tongue.

Páginas: 80

Resumo: This research deals with teaching the mother tongue of the Bakairi people from the Pakuera village, municipality of Paranatinga MT. The objective is to investigate how mother tongue teaching is carried out at the Kurâ Bakairi school and develop a teaching proposal, using various reading and text production strategies in the Bakairi language. The proposed language teaching methodology is based on the generating theme “Ritual of Iakuigady” - Ritual of the sacred masks of the Bakairi people, with the development of three didactic sequences in the classroom. The didactic sequences are proposed from three textual genres: interviews, songs and traditional culinary recipes. The textual genres covered are part of the investigation into the Mask Ritual. The Educational Product will be a book with texts produced by students in the three didactic sequences. The study is based on bibliographies of authors who discuss language teaching, bilingualism and textual genres. The methodology was qualitative (Minayo, 2001). The methodology will be qualitative and ethnographic. We believe that carrying out an in-depth investigation of a new methodology for teaching the mother tongue can provide greater stimulation for students, teachers and even future Bakairi researchers who are interested in the topic.

Título: ENSINO DA LÍNGUA BALATIPONE: BRINCADEIRA XIRIPA COMO ESTRATÉGIA DIDÁTICO-PEDAGÓGICA, COM ALUNOS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL I DA ESCOLA MUNICIPAL INDÍGENA JULA PARÉ

Título: THE WORK OF THE RIKBAKTSA WOMAN AND HER ROLE IN SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT

Palavras-chave: Rikbaktsa Woman, Cultural changes, Social integration.

Páginas: 48

Resumo: This qualification report discusses the importance of the work of indigenous Rikbaktsa women, as well as the difficulties encountered in the work carried out by them. The research aims to find answers to the changes imposed on women over time, as well as we want to understand how these changes reached and still affect the development of skills, an obligation regarding the work of women of the Rikbaktsa people. The Rikbaktsa people still preserve the environment, they do not sell wood or extract minerals. The environment for the Rikbaktsa people is very important as it is through it that they obtain their livelihood, such as hunting, fishing and materials for the production of handicrafts, for both men and women. The research's guiding problem is how does the Rikbaktsa woman reconcile the modern world and the culture of the people? Understand the rules of what a cultural ceremony is like and to what extent the woman has the obligation and duty to participate, what are her activities in each ceremony? With social integration, changes happen among the people and women and children are part of these cultural metamorphoses that are difficult to accept. Do the Rikbaktsa people still maintain cultural traditions, and do women have a fundamental role in cultural work that only they can do? The research has the general objective of investigating the role of women in the social environment of our Rikbaktsa people, cultural changes and how they carry out their activities. And its specific objectives are: Investigating how social integration is changing the cultural customs of the people, specifically the Rikbaktsa woman; Survey the indigenous community's conception of the development of young Rikbaktsa women regarding traditional education; Record the work of the Rikbaktsa woman's role in the social environment and compare the extent to which the school can contribute to strengthening culture. Therefore, we are proposing the Pedagogical Product, which is a booklet that presents women's work and its importance so that this knowledge can be valued by children and young people for the preservation of culture. The methodology is bibliographical research and field research via interviews with women in the community. The importance of the work is precisely so that our people, especially young people, can value the role of women.

Resumo: The objective of this research is to carry out a study on the fish of the Xingu River, based on a pedagogical practice, with high school students, which can contribute to strengthening the knowledge of the Yudja people about the fish species existing in the Indigenous Territory in the region of Lower Xingu-MT. The focus will be on studying the edible fish used by the Yudja people, in a pedagogical way, as our purpose is to value our way of teaching, based on our traditional knowledge. This is an unprecedented study and contributes to greater knowledge of the Xingu food culture, with studies of one of the Tupi languages and with the development of teaching material in the Yudja language for the community, produced by us. For our dialogue, we bring other authors who have studies on our topic, such as Freire (2013), Fargetti, Lima, Berto (2013), among other scholars. We also refer to the National Curricular Reference for indigenous schools – RCNEI, Brazil (1998) and Quezo (2022).In this sense, I seek to describe a type of traditional knowledge so that, together with the community and the school, we can find ways to keep our knowledge practices alive and strong, thus motivating younger generations to understand the traditional science of their own people. The work was developed by collecting information from students about their fishing practices, conversations with the community on the topic, conversations with expert fishermen and older people, theoretical readings and discussion with the advisor. During this didactic-pedagogical journey, we developed, together with the students, an educational product in the Yudja language on our research topic, which will serve as teaching material for indigenous schools, especially for the schools of the Yudja people.

Título: REVIEW OF THE PHONOLOGY OF THE MẼBÊNGÔKRE (JÊ) LANGUAGE SPOKEN BY THE MẼTYKTIRE PEOPLE AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TEACHING OF WRITING

Palavras-chave:     Mẽbêngôkre people, Phonology, Teaching, Writing

Páginas: 60

Resumo: This dissertation deals with the review of the phonology of the Mẽbêngôkre language spoken by the Mẽtyktire people, known as Kayapó, whose territory is located in the municipality of Peixoto de Azevedo, in Mato Grosso. The choice of this theme is due to the fact that, with the expansion of the use of writing by the new generations, both in formal and informal situations, speakers have adopted different forms of registering the language, since there are doubts about the written representation of some sounds because there is no orthographic standardization. Reviewing the phonology of the Mẽbêngôkre language is important, especially for literacy teachers who are responsible for teaching children to write. Aware of how the phonemes of the language work, they will be able to be more confident in resolving possible doubts regarding the way of writing certain words, thus contributing to the expansion of literacy practices typical of the Mẽbêngôkre culture. For the segmental phonological analysis of the language, we base ourselves on the traditional principles of Prague Phonology, establishing contrast/distinctive opposition relations, minimal and analogous pairs, free and conditioned variation, in the identification of phonemes and allophones. The analysis of larger units, such as the syllable, and suprasegments, such as stress, was based on Autosegmental Phonology (Goldsmith 1995). Regarding the pedagogical aspect of the research, as it is a professional master's degree, focused on teaching, we refer to the guidelines of the National Curricular Reference for Indigenous Schools (RCNEI), as well as to other authors who deal with language teaching motherhood at school, considering that this phonological review will contribute to literacy in schools of our Mẽbêngôkre people. Based on this work, the master's student will produce specific material to support mother tongue teaching at school, both in the early and final years.

Título: The Traditional Garden of the Balatiponé-Umutina People and Ethnomathematics

Palavras-chave: Umutina-Balatiponé people; Traditional Farming; Ethnomathematics.

Páginas: 70

Resumo: In this master's thesis, "The Traditional Farm of the Balatiponé-Umutina People and Ethnomathematics", I tell the story of a culture that our ancestors always had to support their families, but which has little interest from this new generation. This work has the objective of showing the importance of having our own farm with healthier products that benefit our health and, thus, not depending on industrialized foods that contain toxic products, as well as, the learning of ethnomathematics. I use qualitative research to visit and get to know the stump crops existing in the Umutina territory, and also ethnographic research because I am part of this community. Furthermore, I tried to get to know even better the work done in the fields of our people, recording the reports of the elders who own the fields, at which time I took images of the whole process, from cutting to planting and the participation of the students in this learning process. The drawings and illustrations were indispensable for our pedagogical work. I also present my academic and professional trajectory, the school in the past and present, emphasizing the experience of working this activity with students and teachers, based on the teachings of the elders. I emphasize the farmland of the past and the situation it is in today, considering the advances of technology that have become part of our culture. As a result, young people have lost interest in continuing this cultural practice, which is fundamental to our people.

Título: Distinct Apyãwa words: teaching from comics

Palavras-chave: Masculine and feminine words; distinct words; Know Apyãwa; Appreciation of language and language.

Páginas: 93

Resumo: The purpose of this work is to present the importance of using masculine and feminine words to maintain Apyãwa linguistic epistemologies, as a symbol of the cultural and linguistic resistance of the community, with regard to knowledge and about social organization, songs, communication, traditional festivals, rituals and connection with the supernatural world, according to Apyãwa cosmological explanation. As the sages of the community say, in the concentration of our knowledge, there is the knowledge that we share and experience, in a special way, during all the periods of our experience in a relationship with our millenary knowledge. Communication among the Apyãwa revolves around the movement of knowledge, which occurs through signs and symbolic manifestations, interpreted by us as cosmic languages. These are languages that, in a way, guarantee the identity of the male and female sexes, with the Apyãwa being. This work therefore brings a set of reflections on the use of the masculine and feminine word, on linguistic knowledge, interpreted from the flow of the Apyãwa social discourse, which expresses knowledge produced from different ways of living. Interviews were carried out with wise men, with some teachers from the Apyãwa villages, in addition to participating in some workshops and seminars, also in cultural activities in the village, school activities, participation in night conversations at Takãra, where subjects and problems related to the people and their knowledge as Apyãwa. A documentation of masculine and feminine words of the Apyãwa mother tongue "Tapirapé" will be made, which are taught by parents, and within the family, which will be made available for the exclusive use of the community school, as the pedagogical teaching product, aimed at strengthening of the masculine and feminine words Apyãwa. This research intends, therefore, to investigate the methodologies used or approached by the Apyãwa teachers for the students of different grades, to create a path that meets the demand of inclusion of the teaching of masculine words and feminine words in the State Indigenous School "Tapi'itãwa", and thus recover the strengthening and valorization of the own identity of knowledge, and of the Apyãwa people, in the context of the use of the mother tongue.

Interviews and activities were carried out with some of the students of the school and also with some parents of students and leaders of the territory. Data registers were made in the field notebook and by cell phone (mostly) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And, most importantly, it was approached from the point of view and perspective made by an indigenous teacher who works at the Jula Paré Indigenous Education school and belongs to the Balatiponé/Umutina people.

Páginas: 50

Resumo: This work is an investigation of Manoki time markers and makes an ethnographic record of stories, learning, observations, rituals and cultural festivals for the understanding of the Manoki universe and its location in space. Through recording strategies, conceptions about time, space and ritual can be related, realizing how the Manoki, through observation of the sky and nature, orient themselves and, as a consequence of learning about the stories heard, look at the sky at night and manage to make an understanding reading of everything you need to live in time and space. This analysis takes into account the Manoki's native perspective and the transformations in their world and the role these records may have for this people. This work aims to strengthen traditional knowledge and practices and that these consolidate among young people to strengthen the identity of the people themselves. Through this we can work the areas of knowledge in the various forms of real knowledge, whether in the observation of the stars, the sky and the time to make the constructions of the houses and the gardens. In addition to time markers, there are learned signal codes, these are perceived by the song of a bird or the moon or sun with a rainbow around it, or even a yellowish sun in the late afternoon, these codes in many times for the Manoki are omens, someone could get sick or one of the people could die.

Título:       A INFLUÊNCIA DA TECNOLOGIA AUDIOVISUAL NO JEITO DE FALAR  DAS GERAÇÕES XAVANTES MAIS JOVENS

Título: T A K A R A The House of Apyãwa Sapience

Palavras-chave: Apyãwa-Tapirapé people; Takara; Apyãwa knowledge.

Páginas: 69

Resumo: This dissertation aims to investigate the importance of Takara as a central space for vitalization, maintenance and strengthening of the sociocultural epistemology of the Apyãwa people. As the Korako says, “Takãra aoxekato raka’e xanewe Apyãwa ramõ kwewiwe, maryn maryn xane kaãwa ramõ, tarywa rerekaãwa ramõ, xepaanogãwa rerekaãwa ramõ”. ‘Takãra is irreplaceable, essential since its origin for the vitalization of cultural practices, traditional and religious knowledge of the Apyãwa people’. This research brings important reflections so that Takãra can be valued and strengthened even more, providing opportunities for the renewal and intellectual formation of ceremonial leaders of the new generations. In this sense, it is intended to have a greater impact on school discussions, meetings and assemblies, enabling them to be interesting for everyone and especially for Apyãwa youth. With this, we hope that the research will bring more incentive for the continuity of the work developed at the school with the Apyãwa children and young people, supporting the initiative of the millenary sociocultural practices of the community. To carry out this research, we have valuable partnerships with the “living library” of my Apyãwa people, who have a lot of knowledge on the subject, in addition to the bibliographic and ethnographic research of the Apyãwa people – Tapirapé. The main methods used were participation in cultural activities in the villages, school activities, participation in night conversations at Takãra (Casa Ceremonial) and semi-open interviews with elders.

Título: THE LEADERSHIP OF DANIEL MATENHO CABIXI AND JOÃO ARREZOMÃE: CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CONTINUING EDUCATION OF HALITI PARESI TEACHERS

Palavras-chave: PARESI HALITI PEOPLE; CONTINUING TRAINING; INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP; TRADITIONAL CULTURE

Páginas: 56

Resumo: Daniel Matenho Cabixi and João Arrezomae were two great leaders of the Halliti Paresi people and were always concerned with the schooling of children, fearing that the school could make students forget their culture. For them, the school should work in favor of the People and not in favor of the surrounding society. These leaders participated in many meetings in City Halls, Funai and even in Brasília to defend a school that could value the Halliti Paresi culture. This work aims to reflect and discuss on Continuing Teacher Training for Haliti Paresi school education, using the thoughts and proposals for indigenous school education of these two great leaders. To build this work we bring brief information characterizing the ethnicity, as well as some notes on school education in the context of Paresi villages. In particular, we bring a section on Continuing Education of Indigenous Teachers, as well as the importance of focusing pedagogical work on cultural practices and traditions. In order to discuss the importance of culture and sacred values for the Haliti Paresi in the routine of the School, we will look for several articles that were published by Daniel Matenho Cabixi, interviews in newspapers, by Daniel and João Arrezomae, as well as we will look for documents in government bodies that indicate the claims of these leaders about the specific and differentiated school. Thus, FUNAI and the Municipal Department of Education of Tangará da Serra will be contacted to look for documents and minutes of courses that these two leaders participated in and spoke about their ideas about school education in the villages. Elders and teachers who participated in meetings and courses in which these leaders spoke about school education will also be interviewed, as well as about the advice they heard from Daniel Cabixi and João Arrezoae So, this research will be bibliographic, documentary and field. The questions that can be discussed to build this work are: how to assemble a support material for Continuing Education of Haliti Paresi Teachers using the ideas of cultural leaders? What proposals did Daniel and João Arrezomae make for the school to be closer to the culture of the Haliti Paresi People? Seeking to value these two leaders, this work will be concluded with the production of support material (it can be in the form of an E-BOOK) specific to the training of Haliti Paresi teachers in order to value and enhance the traditional culture of our people in school education routine.

Título: TRAJECTORY OF THE IKPENG PEOPLE TO THE UPPER XINGU REGION

Palavras-chave: Indigenous history. Ikepeng people. Trajectory. Xingu Indigenous Park.

Páginas: 66

Resumo: This dissertation presents a preliminary record, in the view of the Ikpeng, about the transfer of my of the people (Ikpeng) from the traditional Jatobá territory, to the Xingu indigenous territory, their land today. They were transferred from the region they inhabited, on the banks of the Jatobá River, located in the current municipality of Paranatinga - MT, in 1967. A forced transfer by the sertanistas brothers Villas Boas, Claudio Villas Boas, and Orlando Villas Boas. We were transferred to the upper Xingu region. At the time, the Villas Boas were in contact with the peoples of the upper Xingu: Waura, Mehinaku and Matipu and others. Then, by plane, they managed to locate the village of our people and first flew over the village dropping gifts and brown sugar. The Ikpeng, initially called the coconut sugar from the plane. They had several overflights in the region, only later, they landed in the field near the village of the Ikpeng. When my people first had contact with the Villas Boas brothers, they already had contact with the adventurers, miners who passed through the region where the Ikpeng lived. The garimpeiros went by canoe down the Jatobá River. First the Ikpeng had contact with the garimpeiros and later with the sertanistas. To present the trajectory of the Ikpeng people to the Upper Xingu in the view of the elders, the research was carried out in the villages where the elders reside. Three elders were interviewed, Kampot Ikpeng in Moygu village, Oyope Ikpeng in Kurure village and Yakuma Txicao in Pavuru village. The interviews were recorded on the cell phone, then translated from Ikpeng into Portuguese. To complete the production of the dissertation, readings about my people produced by anthropologists and research in documentary videos available on the internet were carried out.

Título: HISTÓRIA EM QUADRINHOS NO ENSINO DE LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA:  ESCOLA KOMOMOYEA KOVOÊRO – TERENA MT
